Core Belief Engineering is an effective complimentary form of psychotherapy. Some may call it alternative or more holistic than traditional therapies. It is profound and meaningful and it works. It aids you in moving from good to better, not from bad to good. CBE goes beyond analysis and coping strategies. It allows clients to get to the core of an issue and heal it from the root, resulting in grounded, long lasting change. The CBE method engages communication with levels and facets of the mind, while the client remains fully conscious. It is a gentle question and answer process that uncovers, examines and re-engineers limiting, outdated core beliefs and behaviors, held both consciously and subconsciously. Changes are made in both the subconcious and conscious minds, bringing them into alignment. CBE works towards restoring choice. With choice comes freedom and with freedom, power. CBE is one of the earliest methods to build a model for identifying and re-engineering beliefs that affect a person's personality and behavior. It operates on the premise that at the core of an issue or problem is a belief system and emotions that keep a person stuck in an old pattern, preventing them from living the life they want. When the belief system was created, its purpose was to help; now it hinders. CBE uncovers the limiting belief and replaces it with one that is positive and unlimiting. Clients uncover what is true and natural within themselves so it is easy to decide what belief to change, and with what belief to replace it. CBE involves several one-day sessions conducted four to seven weeks apart. In this regard, it is considered short-term therapy. Some issues are resolved in three to five sessions, while more stubborn issues may require eight to ten sessions spread out over a year or more. Each session lasts anywhere from five to eight hours, some a little longer. CBE gets results. Clients notice change after every session and it is accumulative. Some change is dramatic, and some change is more subtle until the next layer is explored. Esther Bartkiw offers five tips to help you finally get what you want. |
